Shipping Containers in Avalon, CA

Avalon is on Catalina Island, so a container has to cross by barge instead of riding on our trucks. Call us before you order and we will walk you through the options and the costs.

Our tilt-bed trucks back up to the spot and slide the container off, so we need a straight run: about 60 ft for containers up to 24' and about 100 ft for 40' and 45' containers on the truck-and-trailer. Low wires, tight gates and soft ground are worth mentioning when you book; we can preview the route first.

Yes. We rent 10', 20', 40' and 45' storage containers in Avalon by the month, delivered and picked up by our own trucks. If you end up needing it longer, buying is usually the better deal after about a year; we can run both numbers for you.

We do. Doors, windows, roll-up doors, insulation, electrical, shelving and full custom builds are done at our shop in Chino before the container ships to Avalon, and we stock working refrigerated containers and freezers rated down to -76°F.

It depends on where it goes. Many cities, Avalon included, treat a container on a residential lot or in the street as a temporary structure that may need a permit, while containers on private commercial or industrial property are usually simpler. Check with the Avalon planning or building department before delivery; we are glad to provide container dimensions and drawings for the application.

Delivery is priced by distance from our Chino yard (Avalon is about 70 miles away) and by container size, since 40' and 45' units go out on the truck-and-trailer. Send us your ZIP code and the container you want and we will quote the delivered price.
